We are happy to discuss discounts on the rental fees for not-for-profit organizations with proof of 501(c)3 status.

Rental Includes:

  • Use of green room
  • Use of dressing room (bathrooms/break out space)
  • Wifi
  • Parking for guests in the Upper Grove

Additional Services Available:

  • Additional House Staff $25 per hour
  • Additional Box Office Staff $25 per hour
  • Additional Facilities Staff $25 per hour
  • Additional Site Visits $50 per hour
  • Shuttle $250 - 5 hours; $500 - 8 hours; $50 per hour for every additional hour
  • Security Guard $40 per hour per guard
  • Water Coolers $25 each w/out water
    $10 each bottle of water
  • 6' Folding Tables $25 each


  • Insurance – $1 million dollar policy. Cal Shakes can provide information on a vendor to provide this.
  • ABC License – If you or your catering plans on selling alcohol then you must get your own 1 day ABC permit from Contra Costa County
  • As expected – the grounds are for our ‘sole and exclusive use’. There is no provision in the lease for us to sub-lease or have ‘tenants’ that can also do performances. We will need a waiver.
  • There is a curfew on when the public can be on the grounds between midnight and 7am.
  • Return of the grounds and building to their original state. This includes stacking chairs, collecting trash/recycling and depositing it in the dumpsters.
