We are happy to discuss discounts on the rental fees for not-for-profit organizations with proof of 501(c)3 status.
Rental Includes:
- Use of green room
- Use of dressing room (bathrooms/break out space)
- Wifi
- Parking for guests in the Upper Grove

Requirements:
- Insurance – $1 million dollar policy. Cal Shakes can provide information on a vendor to provide this.
- ABC License – If you or your catering plans on selling alcohol then you must get your own 1 day ABC permit from Contra Costa County
- As expected – the grounds are for our ‘sole and exclusive use’. There is no provision in the lease for us to sub-lease or have ‘tenants’ that can also do performances. We will need a waiver.
- There is a curfew on when the public can be on the grounds between midnight and 7am.
- Return of the grounds and building to their original state. This includes stacking chairs, collecting trash/recycling and depositing it in the dumpsters.
