Under the direction of the House Manager, House Associates are responsible for the efficient operation of all front-of-house activities, including ensuring audience comfort and safety at our 546-seat outdoor venue. Cal Shakes seeks seasoned Teaching Artists with educational and theatrical experience for our school residencies, after-school programs, and seasonal classes. We have a high demand for Teaching Artists who can partner with classroom teachers to incorporate arts-based strategies into History and English core curriculum (Shakespeare experience a plus), as well as for experienced theater teachers with afternoon availability.
